Vem is an adult community and is not for minors. This policy works together with our Terms of Service, Community Rules, DMCA & Abuse Policy, and age-verification statement. By continuing to use Vem, you agree to this policy.

We collect information that is needed to run accounts, uploads, social features, moderation, and security. Depending on how you use Vem, this may include:

• Google account details: your Google account ID, email address, display name, and Google profile photo. We do not collect your Google password.
• Profile details: username, bio, profile picture, rank, reputation points, badges, follower and following relationships, settings, and username-change history.
• Uploads and media: post title, description, hashtags, selected layout, images, videos, media order, external links, upload progress records, and post visibility or moderation status.
• Community activity: comments, replies, likes, saves, follows, views, notifications, reports, moderation notes, and review actions related to your account or content.
• Premium and support records: premium request status, payment proof image, reviewer notes, support messages, and related timestamps.
• Security and technical data: session cookies, CSRF tokens, rate-limit records, IP address, user agent, request details, security events, abuse alerts, and server logs when needed to protect the service.

We use this information to operate Vem and protect the community. Main uses include:

• creating your account, keeping you signed in, and showing the correct profile, rank, settings, and notifications;
• publishing uploads, rendering media layouts, counting views, powering hashtags, search, likes, follows, saves, and comments;
• notifying followers when creators upload, notifying users about replies, and limiting repeated like notifications so notifications are not spammy;
• reviewing Premium requests, payment proof, account deletion requests, reports, and support messages;
• detecting spam, banned content, suspicious comments, upload abuse, attacker behavior, bypass attempts, and account misuse;
• enforcing rules, preserving moderation records, and responding to copyright, abuse, safety, or legal requests;
• maintaining file availability, usage limits, backups, logs, and service reliability.

We do not sell your personal information. Payment proof is used only for Premium verification, dispute handling, and abuse prevention.

Where privacy law requires a basis for processing, we rely on the basis that fits the feature: your consent when you choose to sign in, upload, follow, comment, or submit payment proof; performance of our agreement when we provide account, upload, Premium, and notification features; legitimate interests when we moderate, prevent abuse, secure the service, and improve reliability; and legal compliance when we respond to valid reports, lawful requests, or safety issues.

Vem uses essential cookies and session storage so you can stay signed in, submit forms safely, upload content, and use protected account features. These cookies are required for the service to work.

Google, external file hosts, advertising or sponsor links, and embedded third-party services may use their own cookies or collect technical data under their own policies. We do not control third-party cookies once you leave Vem or load a third-party resource.

We share data only when it is needed to provide Vem, protect the platform, or comply with legal responsibilities. Examples include:

• Google: used for sign-in and account identity.
• Media processing services: used when needed to store, process, or deliver uploaded images, videos, profile photos, and proof images.
• External hosts: links submitted by users may open file hosts or third-party sites outside Vem.

• Trusted reviewers: limited access is used for reports, bans, deletion requests, Premium verification, and security alerts.
• Authorities or legal claimants: we may disclose relevant records when required by law, to answer valid legal requests, or to act on illegal, exploitative, copyright-infringing, or dangerous content.

We use practical safeguards such as Google login, server-side sessions, CSRF protection, rate limits, restricted review tools, moderation queues, security-event logging, and media access controls. These measures help detect suspicious comments, reports, uploads, attacker behavior, spam, bypass attempts, and account misuse.

We keep account data while your account is active and while it is needed for platform operation, security, moderation, dispute handling, or legal compliance. When you delete content, we remove the related records and media references where supported by the system. When you permanently delete your account, your profile, uploads, comments, likes, saves, follows, notifications, ranks, reputation records, and related account activity are scheduled for removal.

Some information may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, fraud-prevention records, moderation evidence, or legal records. Deleted usernames may also be reserved so they cannot be immediately reused or used to impersonate the deleted account.

You may ask to access, correct, update, or delete personal information connected to your account. You can also use account settings for supported profile changes and permanent account deletion. If you need help with data that is not available in settings, contact us.

Send requests to contact@vembangan.com and include the email address connected to your account plus enough detail for us to locate the relevant profile, post, comment, report, or upload. We may verify ownership before making changes.

Vem is strictly for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors and do not allow content involving minors. If we discover that an account belongs to a minor, or content involves a minor, we may remove the account or content, preserve evidence where required, and report it when appropriate.

We may update this Privacy Policy when Vem changes features, media handling, moderation systems, security tools, or legal requirements. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated policy.
